Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sloppi collects when you use Sloppi, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can to run the Service.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and a password hash (handled by our authentication provider).
- Your content: the dials and text you enter, the characters, images and videos generated for you, clips you upload, and links you import.
- Usage and billing: which generations you ran, their cost in credits, your plan, and payment status. Card details go straight to our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and logs needed to keep the Service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide the Service: generate, store and show your content, and run your account and billing.
- To keep it safe: prevent abuse, enforce our policies, and fix problems.
- To improve it: measure quality, speed and cost in aggregate.
- To contact you about your account, changes to these policies, or (if you opt in) product news.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use your content to train our own AI models.
Who processes it for us
We share data only with service providers that help us run Sloppi, under contracts that limit their use:
- Hosting, database, authentication and file storage (Vercel, Supabase).
- AI model providers that receive the prompts and images needed for each generation (via fal and the Vercel AI Gateway; underlying models include OpenAI, Kuaishou Kling, ByteDance and Anthropic).
- Video import (Apify) when you ask us to fetch a link.
- Payments (Stripe).
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Where it lives and for how long
Data is stored in the United States. We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you delete content or your account, we delete it from active systems within 30 days and from backups on their normal cycle. We keep billing records as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict some processing. Email privacy@sloppi.so and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the Service secure. We do not use advertising cookies. We count page visits and steps such as making a character or a video with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn’t follow you across other sites.
Children
Sloppi is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will post updates here and notify you of material changes before they take effect.
